Setting up a car mount camera
The Director, the Director of Photography and the First Assistant Director getting their hands dirty setting up a car mount camera system. The camera is a Canon 7D with 185mm Lens.
Location: Ft. Carson, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Slating a scene
Actors stand at the ready as a digital slate is held up for the Camera to record the scene information and the take.
The scene is the actors walking to the door of their friends home.
Sound
Sound is one of the most important elements in a film. Our sound operator is standing by with RODE NTG-2 microphone and his recording gear
In the foreground is a Jib used to raise and lower a camera and can be used to track an actor short distances.
